Amy has been a physiotherapist since 2005, working in private-practice clinics in both Ontario and Alberta. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2003 and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2005. Amy is a certified Sport Physiotherapist and has taken advanced courses in orthopedic manual therapy and dry needling.

Amy developed an interest in physiotherapy during her figure skating career, where she competed nationally and internationally. During this time, she developed an appreciation for the benefits of physiotherapy; it allowed her to remain as active as possible in her training and activities, but also stressed full, proper recovery from injury. Amy strives for this balance with her clients.

She is a physiotherapist with Freestyle Canada working and travelling with the National Development and National Slopestyle and Halfpipe Teams. Amy also currently works with the CalAlta Figure Skating Club, treating many of their elite figure skaters. From 2010 – 2017 she worked with Hockey Canada as a physiotherapist for their National Women’s Team as well as the National Development and Under-18 Teams.

Amy loves the opportunity to get outdoors, especially in the mountains! Her favorite activities are biking, hiking, baseball, golfing and downhill skiing. She is passionate about travelling and enjoys spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
