After growing up nearby in Okotoks, Courtney headed to Medicine Hat College to complete a 3 year program in sports massage therapy. She had opportunities to work with several ACAC college sports teams and traveled exclusively with the Volleyball Teams at MHC. She then branched into the hockey world, starting out as a trainer with the Calgary Buffaloes Hockey Association.
Courtney has expanded her skill set by becoming full-body certified in Active Release Techniques and SFMA. She has worked as a massage therapist for Hockey Canada with their National Women’s senior team, Development Team and U-18 team, and has had some amazing opportunities to travel internationally.
She thrives on the ability to maintain an athlete at their optimum performance. Her experience, training, and love of sport have fuelled development of a therapeutic approach to care, drawing from a diversity of techniques that always engages and strives to educate. When not at the rink, you can find Courtney out running marathons, lifting weights or bragging about her dog.
