Dr. Justin LeBlanc
Dr. LeBlanc is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Shoulder Reconstruction Surgery, the Program Director for Surgical Foundations (curriculum for first year surgical residents), and a Clinical Assistant Professor in charge of the senior Sport Medicine rotation for orthopedic residents. He has been working at the South Health Campus since early 2014 focusing on Shoulder surgery.
He grew up in Calgary and completed his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Calgary. He then completed his Masters of Science in Medical Science with a specialization in Medical Education at the University of Calgary. He went away to do two fellowships specializing in Shoulder reconstruction with amazing mentors both at the Western University in London, ON and with the Melbourne Orthopedic Group in Melbourne, Australia.
Proud father and husband, Dr. LeBlanc enjoys time away from work on hikes , snowboarding on the hills and in the backcountry, watching Flames and Stampeders games, and relaxing at night with a good movie. He is excited to one day get back into mountain biking and to learn how to skate and play lacrosse/rugby with his son when he’s old enough.
