Sarah gained an appreciation for sports medicine many years ago while recovering from injuries sustained as a competitive as a cross country ski racer. This interest motivated her to pursue a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree focusing on Athletic Therapy from the University of Calgary. She then obtained a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Alberta in 2011.
Since then, Sarah has completed a number of courses specializing in musculoskeletal manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, and sports first aid. In addition to manual therapy and exercise prescription, Sarah strives to educate and empower every client so that they can make informed and educated decisions throughout their rehabilitation process.
Sarah grew up in Canmore and as such, has a special interest in all types of snow sports. She is an avid alpine, backcountry touring and cross-country skier, snowboarder, biker and hiker. As the lead physiotherapist with the Canadian National Alpine Ski Team, Sarah is often overseas travelling with the team during the winter season.
